Meet Yolanda

There are three words you hear often at Yolanda Lara’s house: “Come on in!” Around here, it’s not uncommon to find friends or family members drop by, and Yolanda loves opening her house to loved ones.

She thrives on cooking and entertaining for guests, inviting people over for a backyard barbecue or simply spending quality time with the people that mean the most to her. “My house is the gathering home,” Yolanda says with a smile. “It’s great to have a place where everyone feels so comfortable and welcome. I just want guests to feel ‘right at home.’”

Why use a REALTOR® for the purchase of your home?

Whether selling your home, buying a home, or building your dream home it is important to have proper representation. A REALTOR® does just that. A REALTOR® serves as a buffer between you and the other party to look out for your best interest. Many buyers believe that they are saving money when they choose not to use a REALTOR®. The problem is who will they turn to if they run into trouble with their purchase, have questions, etc.? And sellers think they can save money by not using a REALTOR® to put their home up for sale. But the truth is not using a REALTOR® not only limits a seller to the exposure his house can get, it may not be priced correctly and when a home sits on the market for too long it becomes stale.

Buyers and REALTORS® begin to wonder what is wrong with that home. When building a new construction home buyers think they can save by going straight to a builder without a REALTOR®. Remember the person working at the builder office works for the builder not you. Who will represent you if something goes wrong? Therefore, I recommend you have me in your corner to help guide you in every step of the way.

Resale Homes VS
New Construction

If a resale home is what you want there are pros and cons to consider. Resale homes tend to come with extras that new construction homes do not. Extras may be sprinkler system, blinds, landscaping, pre-wire for home theater system, pre-wire for alarm system, water softener, etc. Some cons to consider, it is not new and may need upgrading.

Here are some cons with new construction homes, no sprinkler system, no blinds and some landscaping. Most builders include the front yard landscaping but not the backyard with the purchase of a new home. Pros are, you are moving into a brand new home, you can pick out your cabinets, colors for walls, flooring, exterior stone, etc.

So, give me a call and let’s get started today. I am happy to answer any questions you may have.
